Indie publisher Raw Fury Games has emerged from a seed funding round $600,000 richer following investments from Loot Spawn founder Karl Magnus Troedsson, Unity founder David Helagson, and entrepreneur Rikard Lindstrom.
The publisher says that the extra cash will help it bring more of its titles to consoles in the coming year, something the company has been endeavoring to focus more resources on since 2016.
The investment will also allow Raw Fury to bring more games onto its publishing label than originally planned during 2018 and will fund the hiring of additional personnel to work with those developers.
The seed funding round was led by Troedsson, who first crossed paths with Raw Fury in 2016 when he joined the company as an investor and board member. Raw Fury notes that it plans to pursue another (and larger) round of funding in the future to further support its growth efforts and connect the company with the right partners and people.
