Indie advocates join Indie Fund's new team of talent scouts

Notable indie community members Kelly Wallick, John Polson and Simon Ferrari are partnering with Indie Fund to help it find more developers to support as part of a developer outreach initiative.
The folks who run Indie Fund announced today that they're bringing on three new talent scouts to help the organization find more projects worth funding: Kelly Wallick, John Polson and Simon Ferrari. You may know Wallick as the founder of the Indie Megabooth showcase, as well as a general advocate of indie development. Simon Ferrari is a well-known game critic and educator who researches and teaches at the NYU Game Center. He has also helped organize both the L..A.-based IndieCade and the Different Games conference in Brooklyn, NY. Polson has been involved with indie games media for years, first with Dejobaan Games and later with UBM Tech, where he served as editor-in-chief of Gamasutra sister site IndieGames and helped out with both the Indie Royale game bundle service and the Independent Games Festival. Polson recently departed from indiegames.com to focus on other projects, among them IndieFund and the Media Indie Exchange showcase. All three partners will continue to pursue their own projects in addition to their developer outreach work with Indie Fund.
