Newsbrief: Cloud gaming company Gaikai today announced a partnership with Wikipad, the manufacturer behind a tablet that comes with an attachable gamepad controller, that will see the Gaikai client integrated into the tablet.
The Wikipad is set to launch at an unspecified date, and will feature glasses-free 3D visual capabilities and an additional peripheral that adds dual-analog sticks, a d-pad and video game controller buttons to the tablet.
With this partnership, Wikipad users will be able to stream console-quality games to the tablet. The move is part of Gaikai's big worldwide push of its services -- the company
most recently launched a Facebook app.
