Newsbrief: The first game from former thatgamecompany art director Matt Nava was revealed during Sony's E3 press conference last night, scheduled to arrive on PlayStation 4 in 2016.
Abzu is Nava's first game with his new studio Giant Squid, which he founded last year. Nava was previously art director on gorgeous titles like
Journey and
Flower.
Notably Austin Wintory, the composer who scored
Journey, is also involved with
Abzu. The reveal trailer can be seen above.
