Newsbrief: John Needham, formerly CEO at
Champions Online company Cryptic Studios, has been revealed as the new studio head at the UK-based Lionhead.
Most recently Needham was CEO at online gaming firm Gazillion Entertainment, best known for various games based on the Marvel universe. In his new role, he will be responsible for management at Lionhead.
The Microsoft-owned Lionhead says that the industry veteran's knowledge of subscription-based MMOs, client-based console games and free-to-play titles, both on PC and on mobile, should prove a huge benefit for the company.
