Epic Games is launching a Fortnite subscription that will cost $11.99 per month and include "can't-miss" game content.

The developer sent out a survey earlier this month to gauge interest in a potential subscription package, and it seems the idea garnered a positive reception.

As detailed on the Xbox Wire blog, the monthly 'Fortnite Crew' bundle will include Battle Pass access, 1,000 V-Bucks each month, and an exclusive outfit collection that includes a matching accessory.

The subscription itself will be purchasable from the in-game Item Store or Battle Pass purchase screen from December 2. Players will be able to cancel their subscription at any time, but will retain Battle Pass access even if they do so mid-season.

In terms of whether the package is value-for-money, players can currently purchase 1000 V-Bucks for $9.99, while standard Battle Pass access also costs around $10. On the surface then, it seems like a decent deal for frequent flyers who value premium access and swish in-game cosmetics, so it'll be interesting to see what the uptake it like when the plan is rolled out in December.
