Newsbrief: Swedish software company Hansoft has gone ahead and raised $10 million in a recent round of investment funding led by the venture capital firm Creandum.
The company is best known for its titular Hansoft software, an integrated suite of tools for Agile development, task scheduling, real-time reporting, QA duties and the like. It's clients include game development companies like Ubisoft, id Software and EA's BioWare.
As part of this first funding round, Hansoft is partnering with new investor Hasso Plattner Ventures and expanding its operations by staffing up -- especially in its San Francisco office.
“We are truly excited that Hasso Plattner Ventures have joined our team of investors,” stated Hansoft CEO Patric Palm in a press release announcing the partnership. “Their international network and experience will help us bring Hansoft to a much wider group of users.”
