Deep Silver partners with Warhorse to publish crowdfunded RPG

Czech startup Warhorse Studios has found a co-publisher for its crowdfunded medieval RPG, Kingdom Come: Deliverance, in Persona 5's European distributor, Deep Silver.

Czech startup Warhorse Studios has found a co-publisher for its crowd funded medieval RPG, Kingdom Come: Deliverance, in Persona 5's European distributor, Deep Silver.

Kingdom Come was teased when the studio formed back in 2011, but development only began following a successful Kickstarter campaign in 2014, which saw Warhorse raise an initial $1.1 million from 35,384 backers.

With the game's 2017 release now on the horizon, the studio has enlisted the help of Deep Silver and its parent company Koch Media to distribute the game.

More specifically, Koch will publish the game physically and digitally on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, while Deep Silver will handle the physical PC versions.

Warhorse will tackle digital distribution on PC, and says it will retain creative freedom over the game.
