Mobile monetization platform Burstly has launched a new mobile gaming and app initiative that allows developers to manage all their revenue channels through a single dashboard. Burstly Rewards, which launched as a beta this week, allows developers to display all their various income from ad networks, cross-promotions, direct sales and the like in one place. The aim is to allow developers of iOS and Android titles to more easily compare their revenue channels and determine which brings in the most money at the least cost. Burstly CEO Evan Rifkin told TechCrunch that he believes the currently available ad mediation solutions are not useful enough, and that he hopes Burstly Rewards can give developers more control. However, rather than acting as a competitor to existing ad mediation companies, Burstly is looking to work with them to integrate their solutions straight into Burstly Rewards. The company also revealed that it has raised $5.5 million in a round of series B financing, led by GRP Partners, Rincon Venture Partners and SoftBank Capital.
