Apple is offering free Apple Developer Program membership to certain organizations including non-profits.
The Cupertino giant is willing to disregard the program's annual $99 membership fee for non-profits, accredited educational institutions, and government entities based in the States, assuming they agree to only release free apps.
If a participating company launches a paid app or one that uses in-app purchases after its fee has been waived, it'll have to fork out the full $99.
New members can join the Apple Developer Program as an eligible organization by obtaining an enrollment ID before filing a fee waiver.
Existing members can simply submit a waiver slip before their membership is due to expire. Once approved, they'll no longer have to pay the fee upon renewal.
You can find out more information, including how to apply, over on the Apple website.
