Newsbrief: Amazon's AppStream service, a new tech that allows portions of downloadable games to be streamed to players before the game has been fully installed, is now available to all developers. CCP Games said earlier this year that it was experimenting with AppStream in its popular MMO EVE Online, allowing players to stream the character creation process before the game was properly installed. Today, Amazon said that the tech has left beta, and can be utilized by any developers. Those interested in checking it out should read the latest Amazon blog post.
