Warner Bros. Interactive today launched a version of 5th Cell's popular Nintendo DS title Scribblenauts for iOS devices. Scribblenauts Remix, developed by Chicago-based Iron Galaxy, features the same style of gameplay as the original release, with players entering words to conjure up any item they need to complete a series of tasks. The iOS version, designed especially for iOS 5, offers a whole new set of levels, along with a variety of levels found in both the original Scribblenauts game and its sequel Super Scribblenauts. The game makes use of iCloud, allowing players to save progress on one device and then continue play on any other iOS device, with save data transferred automatically. Samantha Ryan, SVP of production and development at Warner Bros, said, "Scribblenauts Remix is the perfect game for iPad, iPhone and iPod touch users, as it combines an innovative word game with a fun platformer, bringing words to life." 5th Cell is currently working on Xbox Live Arcade title Hybrid, first announced late last year. The game is currently penned in for a 2012 release.
