Microsoft has revealed a string of upcoming games for its Xbox 360 console as part of its Xbox Spring Showcase, including a new
Forza game and a new title in Lionhead Studios'
Fable franchise.
Larry "Major Nelson" Hryb, the director of programming for Xbox Live,
revealed the list of games coming soon to Xbox 360, Kinect, Xbox Live Arcade and Windows Phone on his blog today, with a mix of previously announced and unannounced games detailed.
Forza Horizon, developed by UK studio Playground Games which consists of former
DIRT, TOCA and
Colin McRae developers, is described as "a fast-paced, pick-up-and-play racing game" and is due to be released this fall.
Although details are thin on the ground at the moment, it is set to be an open-world title similar to the
Test Drive Unlimited series.
Elsewhere, Hryb revealed
Fable Heroes, an Xbox Live Arcade spinoff from the
Fable series that will feature hack-and-slash co-op dungeon crawling gameplay in the
Fable world, with Xbox avatar-style visuals.
Among the various titles named, Hryb also noted that a first-look video for upcoming shooter
Halo 4 is now available to watch online.
