Newsbrief: Square Enix has cut the ribbon on a new Japanese development studio called Luminous Productions

Based in Tokyo, it will focus on creating new triple-A titles and properties, alongside other "innovative game and entertainment content."

The new opening has been staffed with members of the Final Fantasy XV dev team, and will be headed up by the game's director Hajime Tabata.
