El Shaddai designer acquires rights to the game's IP
Takeyasu Sawaki, best known for his design work on Okami, Devil May Cry and El Shaddai: Ascension of the Metatron, has secured the IP rights to the El Shaddai name.

As translated by Kotaku, Sawaki's studio Crim has bought the IP from publisher Ignition Entertainment, giving Crim the rights to create a new El Shaddai title.
The original El Shaddai was released in 2011 to good reviews, as Sawaki attempted to bring something just that little bit different to game audiences.
