Deus Ex: Mankind Divided honored with multiple awards at CVAs
The Eidos-Montreal-developed game walked away with awards in a quarter of the total categories featured at the Canadian Videogame Awards.
The 7th annual Canadian Videogame Awards honored Canadian-developed games across twenty different categories last night, with titles like Deus Ex: Mankind Divided and Jotun: Valhalla Edition walking away with awards in multiple categories.
Eidos-Montreal developed Deux Ex: Mankind Divided was named the CVA Game of the Year, and was also given awards for Best Console Game, Best Game Design, Best Narrative, and Best Performance.
Other notable triple-A games, like Far Cry Primal and NHL 17, were awarded Best Animation and Best Audio, respectively.
Canadian-made indie games had a strong showing at the CVAs as well, with titles like Drinkbox Studios' Severed, Thunder Lotus Games' Jotun: Valhalla Edition, Cloudhead Games' The Gallery - Episode 1, Spearhead Games' Stories: The Path of Destinies, and Behaviour Interactive's Dead by Daylight taking home multiple awards each.
