Handheld/mobile releases like Capcom's Ghost Trick: Phantom Detective and Simogo's Bumpy Road were also nominated by a committee of animation professionals appointed by the board of directors of IFSA, the organizer behind the Annie Awards. Released to Xbox Live Arcade and Windows last August, Insanely Twisted Shadow Planet was published by Microsoft Studios and developed by Shadow Planet Productions. Noted animator Michel Gagne (The Iron Glant) was the designer for the 2D, exploration-based shooter.
